Outlook express v6.x keeps asking if I wish to be online and will sometimes run the DUN software even when I am online. I am attached to a local LAN with an always-on broadband connection. Sometimes I do come off my net and will actually use DUN.
How do I stop the messages and DUN execution?

XP home on a Dell 8100 laptop.

    OE, Tools, Accounts.

Under the Connection tab in the properties of each account, choose your LAN as the preferred connection.

    Abraxas,

Thanks. I checked under accounts/properties and the connections LAN setting was active.
Any more ideas would be appreciated.

Just double-checking, but did you do it to all accounts and check the box that said it should connect to LAN only and Internet Options set to Never Dial a Connection under the Connections tab?

You could also try disabling the Remote Access Autoconnection Mnager to see if it makes a difference.
