I have Windows 95 and Outlook Express 5.5 with a Microsoft PS/2 mouse. When typing an email in Outlook Express, the cursor is about 2 characters to the right of where the typed letter appears. Anyone know how to correct that? I've already done the Internet Explorer repair and restored the mouse drivers but neither helped. We have 60 other similarly configured computers in our company and none of them have this problem.

Does altering the font, size of font or format have any effect?

Interesting thought. I've changed it from Book Antiqua 12 to Arial 14 and it isn't messing up right now (however, I'm told it is a sporatic problem). I'll watch it over the next few days and let you know if that solution holds up. Thanks.

It's certainly an interesting problem and I have to admit to having no idea as to what's causing it! I wonder whether that particular font would help?

Kinda forgot about responding with the holiday season overtaking us. But the good news is that after changing the font, the problem has disappeared for good. It's been about 2 months since the change. Thanks for your wisdom Brett
