    Hello,

I am trying to send a friend an e-mail with some picture and video attachments, but these files were never sent (the program indicated "sending mail" forever...), and now the program will not work at all. The message and attachments still show in my "Outbox ", but I cannot click on them to delete them. Once opened, the program is "jammed" and the whole computer slows down.

    How can I proceed?

    Thanks,

    Bob

Go to your ISP web site, login to your mail, and see if those files are THERE in Outbox. If so, delete them.

As for sending attachments, every ISP has one-time limit. You need ask them what's the limit. I can send up to 10MB in one email with my Comcast.

You can delete anything in your Outbox by deleting the outbox completely. It will be rebuilt the next time that you open OE. Close OE then do the following.

    Start/Search/All files and folders/Outlook Express/Search
It will be in a file that is like this.
    Name
    Outlook Express

    In Folder
    C:\Documents and Setting\(your name)\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{with a bunch of numbers and letters after it}\Microsoft

Click on it and then in the next window, right click on Outbox.dbx and delete it.
Then open up OE again and it will rebuild the Outbox and it should be clear.
This also applies to any of the folders that are in OE. If the Inbox in OE gets to large, it will cause OE not to open at all. That is a good reason why you should make folders and not under/in one another to save different e-mails. Use Folders to add new folders. I have several on mine and some are the same name with a number after them.
