For some reason yesterday my inbox lost email messages from the last two weeks. They all appear as Message has not been downloaded Outlook Express has not yet downloaded this message.
    To download the message:

    Press Space.

But when I follow the instructions nothing happens. The email seems to be gone. The attachments are gone. And the reply function doesn't work on these...it's as if the emails just disappeared. I can't find anything about this on any support site unless I'm just missing it

Thanks for any guidance you can give me

MojoMarvel--You are not alone. www.google.com shows several other appeals for help on this issue.
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...+has+not+been+downloaded+"&btnG=Google+Search
Not too many solutions however. One sounds potential however
"Tools/Options/Read/ Tick Automatically download messages when viewing in preview pane "
If that does not help run a find on *.dbx. If you still have Inbox.dbx dated today, you have the messages. Now you just have to figure out how to access. One way is to use DBXtract
