Outlook Express loads slow after installing MSN Messenger 6

    My Outlook Express used to load immediately upon clicking on the icon. Ever since I removed the Windows Messenger and Installed the new MSN Messenger 6.0, my Outlook Express will load, but ever so slowly. Are there any fixes?

    You won't like this, but having spent too much time on these message boards I've seen this work.

    Reinstall windows messenger

    Once installed, rename the folder


    There are several ideas/suggestions to stop messenger without removing it. The one I tried did the slow OE routine. Renaming the folder worked like a charm...

    I would suggest you indicate the SUBJECT next time you have a question. Just saying "Outlook Express" means nothing in this forum!
