I have an older Pentium machine with Win95. Lately when I try to shut down, I get a popup message that says:

"OUTLOOK EXPRESS FOLDERSYNC WINDOW CLASS: This program is not responding. It may be busy, waiting for a response from you, or it may have stopped running."

If I click on "End Task" it logs out of Windows normally.

I also notice that something is running in the background because things get jerky (like the scroll slidebar and mouse movements. When I do CRTL-ALT-DEL to see what is running, I get a list, but I don't know which is causing the problem.

The problem is not Outlook Express. FolderSync is a freeware program from kalab.com at www.kalab.com/freeware.htm

Remove that program and see if the problem goes away.
