outlook express from windows mail

I am basically a beginner. Is there an easy way to go back to outlook express after using Vista windows mail?

 

The short answer is no. There is not only no easy way, there is no way.

Outlook Express was never available as a stand-alone program. It was a part of Internet Explorer and the last version of IE with Outlook Express was 7.

I certainly wouldn't recommend trying to install IE7 on Vista. If you do try it, be sure to do a complete backup first in case you end up with a total disaster.

There are other free email clients out there. One a lot of people like is Thunderbird.
