Hi, I have an email in my inbox that is giving me a fit. Everytime I highlight it to try and open it or delete it my computer freezes up and will not let me do anything but hit the RESET button. I have no clue as to what to do about it. I have even contacted the sender who sent the software update and he doesn't know why this is happening.
Any help on this would be most appreciated--Mike

    Hiya

Is there anything else in the Inbox that you want to keep? If not, you can delete the Inbox and it will be remade when you start Windows again.

Go to Find Files and type *.dbx

    Look for Inbox.dbx

Now, just to be on the safe side, rightclick on it and choose Rename. Rename it to Inbox.old. This will keep the inbox in case it dosen't get recreated, but it should.

Then, when you restart Windows, go to Outlook and see if it's there.

    Regards

    eddie

OE is part of IE. Have you tried repairing IE? Post back good or bad.

aleekat, I don't know how to go about the IE repair. When I go to inbox repair tool what files should I repair? Is there a way to see a damaged or corrupt file?
