Outlook Express Closes when Inbox is clicked

    As the title says... OE closes when Inbox is clicked, but it doesn't happen every time. Any suggestions? It's really annoying, and I get tired of seeing the desktop right after I click to see my mail. Thanks for your help. :)

    Windows XP and Outlook Express 6.

    OK - suggest you run System File Checker ....

    Start > Run > type in sfc /scannow noting the space before the forward slash and have your XP CD handy. SFC will run and exit without any closing dialogue. To see which files, if any were replaced look in Event Viewer.

    BTW - always helpful to post your OS and with XP whether it is Home or Pro plus version of IE (if the problem relates to that) as the methods of dealing with problems differ with different OS's, even between Home and Pro in XP at times.
