    I am frustrated!!!!!

I am trying to send specifically formatted Word documents via Outlook Express but after I attach them to the message and then open/test them before sending them, they've always been attached (changed) to WordPad.

How in the blazes can I attach a Word document and have it sent as a Word Document? And why is Outlook Express changing them?

Thanks for any and all help!!!!

Try attaching the Word doc. Send the mail to yourself. Save the file to your desktop and open. How does it look?

Tried it Steve - and it opens both way.

If i save it to a folder and then click on it in Windows Explorer it opens as a Wordpad file without the formatting and not as a Word Document which is how I sent it.

But if I open Microsoft Office Word and open it ... it opens as a Word document with the formatting.

Why will it simply not send as a Word Document - why is OE converting it to Wordpad??????????

    thanks

    Start, Run, regsvr32 Offfilt.dll

Next, in Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, File Types.
    Double click .DOC
Click Change, and select Microsoft Word as the default application.
