Would appreciate some help with an Express - XP problem. I have Outlook Express working as a standalone application, however, I cannot set it as my default email app withing IE6, it is just not listed as an option!

Also if I am in Express and go into options to set it as my default email app, it lets me set it and having doen this I go back in to view my settings and it reverts to NOT default.

Very frustrating as I haven't any ideas, any help very gratefully appreciated.

Take a look at this page ...scroll down to the heading "How to set OE as the default email client." It includes a link to a "fixmapi" download if none of the suggestions works for you.
