    Tom,

Give us more details, tell us exactly what you are doing, and exactly what happens. Are you retrieving Mail from OE, etc., any details you can think of.

Also, is OE your default browser. Type of connection. And, at least some detail.

    FF and OE

I have Firefox set as my default browser, but I can't open OE while in Firefox. This used to work, but suddenly changed. If I use IE, it works fine.
I have uninstalled then re-installed Firefox to no avail.
Is there some setting that I can change in Firefox to make this work? Or is the issue with OE.
I've been running firefox on this machine for about six months. It worked fine at the default settings, until recently. Now when I click Read Mail, nothing happens. OE doesn't respond.
I'm running ZAP and NAV at default settings.

    Thanks,
    Tom

It seems that you cannot open OE from Firefox. Do you have problem opening OE with Firefox closed? Has anything happened recently, which may have caused OE to lose its default status? Obviously did check if it is default? I may try to make some changes, although I may not. So, do your checking, save me the inconvenience.

I got the external application extention , which with earlier versions allowed me to open external applications, and deposited mini icons on the top toolbar.
But, I have the OE icon, and it works, even if Thunderbird is my default mail client. You must install the version 0.7.2 for Firefox 1.0. After installation, everything is downhill, i.e. pretty wacky. You must do the following:
1 Go to View|Toolbars|Customize. You will see toward the bottom, something which says just Applications. Believe me, it works: Drag and drop the thing. You will get a white bar, and,...you can't do a thing with it. And, it disappears.
    2. Right click, until you close to any other button you may have, and, eventually you will get a New button. Click on it.
    3. You will get the usual selection from Windows, and you will follow it until you get the correct program file. You will need msimn.exe for OE, etc.
I have now, Outlook Express, Winamp, WMP10, iTunes and Napster. I can propably add another ten, if I wish.
