A friend of mind keep sending me emails that says on a popup "Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly." Her emails are the same with other people that she sends. Suggestions?

Nice friend you have! Tell your friend to check for a virus on his system. It's not normal to send ActiveX in email, and is usually an indication of a virus infection.

    Didn't Help

My friend install the AVG Virus, found one virus and fix it, run it again and no virus. Still has the same problem a pop up says "Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly." Any more suggestion?

    Sure: Format & reinstall.

I don't trust AV to get rid of viruses when they are actually IN the system. Just had the same experience with a system from a brother-in-law....
