    Hi:

Here is a real strange happening.

    1. My restore to an earlier date went wrong - we now get a boot, close boot ,close loop.

    2. So we removed the hard drive "C ". Repined it to be a slave.

    3. Installed it as a slave with a good hard drive "C" as master.

    4. Everything on the slave drive seem to be available (Data that is).

Now here is what went wrong.

    A. On the old drive (now the slave) we had Outlook Express address book
with a lot of data. (It did have originally).
    B. On the new drive C we have outlook Express address book with only one address.

Our hope was that we could copy the .WAB file from the old drive to the new one and have our address again.

Not so, seems that The .WAP file is universal and will be the same
    (the latest on on c).

Now we know ! That feature is not a very nice feature of Windows !

Anyhow, we will ask the question - that Old Drive "c" (now the slave)
had much address book data. Is it still there anywhere ?

    Thanks

Open the address book on the new drive and click file>import>address book. Then browse to the wab file on the old drive and select it.
