I have a problem w/Outlook Express/address book. My subfolders are gone and I don't have option to add folders anymore. I found all the data at : C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book. When I open that folder, it looks just like my address book should be.I can't find any help files on how to restore the address book or reinstall the folders.

This may be a bit more than you asked for, but maybe it will help you:

Here are several articles on problems importing address files. Click on the link below to go to Microsoft's Knowledge Base. Find the box labeled 'Try the Q number Shortcut'. Then enter one of the numbers below (I hope they are still there).

Here is a good article on Address Books. Also check out the rest of the site. Click on the link below.

OE is integrated with IE. Have you tried repairing IE? Control panel, add/remove programs, highlight IE, click add/remove. When prompted, click repair. Post back good or bad.

Aleecat, your solution sounded too easy so I tried it first. It didn't work. I'll try all the Q numbers when I get in from work today and if that don't worl I'll try manually uninstalling OE and reinstall.

    Thanks for the help
