I need help setting up Outlook Express 6 - I've got my ISP mail incoming and outgoing working. However, when I try to add my "Yahoo" accounts I get error messages as follows:

Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server. Account: 'http://mail.yahoo.com', Server: 'http://www.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: HTTPMail, Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x80042007

    Please help! Many thanks.

Yahoo is Internet based and cannot be invoked using Outlook Express.

Really? I was using it before, my computer just crashed and I had to reinstall everything. Was it just a fluke that it worked before? - - Darn

Very interesting. I have no idea how you could have used Outlook Express for you Net Based Yahoo mail. Perhaps someone else will drop in and enlighten both of us.

edit: I just did a pretty thorough read of the Yahoo mail page and apparently you can access them with your POP3 account if you will kick down some coins first.

You have to sign up for Pop access via Yahoo now. It is not free anymore. Take a look here. Specifically, "what is changing ", then scroll down to "Pop configuration ".
