I had Outlook Expressed configured to work with my American Money Services email. Outlook worked for a few months using the American Money Services account. It worked the at first and then it told me that it couldn't find the server. The following is the configuration that worked for a few months and then gave me an error message that it couldn't find the server.

Going to Outlook and choosing Tool, Accounts, selecting the email account and then the properties button. Then it gave me the properties screen.

On the Generals Tab You will find the following information:

Outlook request that you type a name for the server.
Sever name was: Mail.americanmoneyservices.com

Under USER INFORMATION:
Name: I typed my name
Organization: I left it blank
Email Address: Username@americanmoneyservices.com
Reply email: I left blank

Under the servers Tab:
Server Information:
My Incoming Mail Sever is POP3 sever.
Incoming Mail Server(POP3): mail.americanmoneyservices.com
Outgoing Mail Sever(SMTP): Mail.americanmoneyservices.com
Incoming Mail sever:
Account Name: username@americanmoneyservices.com
Password: American Money password

I check the box My Sever Requires Authentication

Advanced TAB
Server Port numbers:
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): 25
Incoming Mail Server (POP3): 110

The Following is the ERROR MESSAGE

"The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.americanmoneyservices.com', Server: 'mail.americanmoneyservices.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E "

So then I made some changes.
On the SERVER TAB
I changed the OUTGOING MAIL SERVER (SMTP) to: SMTP.comcast.net

Ont the AVANCED TAB
under the SERVER PORT NUMBER:
I changed the OUTGOING MAIL SERVER (SMTP): 587

This worked for a week and then it just started Prompting me for me to logon.
Now it is giving me this ERROR MESSAGE:

"The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'greenlydon@comcast'. Subject 'test', Account: 'mail.americanmoneyservices.com', Server: 'SMTP.comcast.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.1.1 <greenlydon@comcast> recipient invalid domain', Port: 587, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79 "

Any help will be very much appreciated.

EDIT: Link Removed by me;)

But Google the error message and you'll probably find a solution.

In the error message it says, "The rejected e-mail address was 'greenlydon@comcast'." When one address in a multiple message send is rejected, the entire send is rejected.

Note that "greenlydon@comcast" does not look like a complete email address. Should it be greenlydon@comcast.com? Fix that and the message should go through.

DUH! I feel a little stupid now. I do appreciate your help. I have one more question. If I have the incoming mail server as mail.americanmoneyservices.com and the outgoing to the comcast.net. I have to enter the American Money email address & password for the incoming and and comcast for outgoing will i still be able to receive my American Money email?

Why not? As you say "I have to enter the American Money email address & password for the incoming ", so that would get you your email...

Now, if the question was "would I still get my Comcast email ".... that's a different story. You'd either have to setup a forward from your Comcast > American Money, or make a 2nd account that checks your Comcast mail.
