When you are writing an email and you have not saved it as a draft and you happen to have a breakdown, you will loose this email.

Is there a setting in Outlook Express where like in Word you can safeguard yourself against this happening or is your draft saved somewhere in Windows?

    I am using Win98, IE6 and Outlook Express 6.0.

The draft is lost. In a way you answered your own question, compose the email in Word, when finished, Copy and Paste into the email in OE.

    Hello markp62

You are right, but I just wanted to ensure that I have not overlooked a setting to avoid this especially when answering a mail where its inconvenient to start in Word.

    Thanks for your reply.
