Outlook Exp 6: Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I am running WinME and OE-6, and had been running fine for a long time...

Over the past couple of weeks or so, for no apparent reason, when I try to read my e-mails, I get the message:

"The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'X.XXXX', Server:
'POP.sbcglobal.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E "

Usually, all I have to do is reboot, and the problem is solved; that is, until I leave OE6 for a while and then I am back to the error.

Over the past couple of days, however, even rebooting has not solved the problem, so I reinstalled WinME. Afterwards, OE6 ran fine, but only once, and then gave me the message again.

Any suggestions of what I can do to get OE6 to run reliably?
