For some unknown reason, my Outlook email program is acting strange.
Instead of my email address the following is shown in the From" field.
    ******************@flpvm19.prodigy.net

I had not made any changes to the program before this started. I deleted the account and configured a new account with correct information and still the problem exists. Any suggestions on correcting this?

Have you done a scan for spyware lately?

I ran a spyware scan, antivirus was up to date; did Office repair and finally after running system restore, resetting password and restarting pc the problem was resolved. Still not sure what caused it, but all's well - finally.

Glad it is fixed and you will probably never find out exactly what caused the problem unless it keeps happening.
