Outlook email error message 0x800ccc15

    Not sure about the how...but I cannot acceess email, and all settings appear to be ok. Recently installed & removed McAfee SpamKiller.
    Help.

    Microsoft KB 813514 also mentions possible causes with includes:

    • Incorrect account settings
    • Misconfiguration of personal firewall software
    • Antivirus software
    • A bad modem
    • Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) size
    • Outlook Express has been removed from the computer or the installation is damaged
    • Your user profile in Outlook is damaged
    • An e-mail item on your POP3 server is damaged

    If it started happening shortly after installing & removing McAfee SpamKiller, I'd concentrate on that first. Try searching their support site, or their support Forum
