I have been using Gmail on and off (usually on) for at least 7 years. After a few initial hiccups, I've been using it steadily during this time.

I gotta say, tho, that I'm strongly thinking of switching to outlook.com. I've been using outlook.com lately, and getting all my gmail email forwarded to it.
I really think that MS has out-Googled google on this one. The UI of outlook.com is more simple and minimalist than even Gmail. I don't think outlook.com will disappear, given that MS has supported hotmail all these years (I doubt they were making too much money off of that service). I really like it, and I'm wondering what other folks' thoughts are on outlook.com or a comparison with gmail.

I run gmail, like you have done for years and find it a good alternative for my main email software which is Windows Live Mail. I have recently opened an account with Outlook.com which looks fine to me, much like gmail to be honest.

I have two other web based email accounts gmx.com and care2.com both as good as the other.

As far as comparing gmail with outlook I think they are much of a muchesnus.

    kind regards,

    Hi Paul,

You hit the nail on the head......in other words you are right. I guess if you google "Australian Slang" you may find many more.

    best regards,
