Outlook - cant get at the attachments in e-mails

Help

I sent myself an e-mail from work to home with an exe attachment. But - Outlook says it won't let me open exe (and other) attachments as they could contain viruses etc. I can't find anywhere how to change the settings to let me get my attachment.

Any ideas anyone

Hi,
I think if you open outlook, go to tools,, options, security and uncheck the box that says do not allow attachments.........
Worked for me.

 

Sorry - nice idea but my Tools/Options/Security doesn't have that option.

I've got Outlook 2000 - does that make a difference?
