I am running Outlook 2002 on Win98 and I cannot get a weekly calendar to print starting on Sunday. I have gone to Tools->Options->Calendar Options, selected all days of the week and selected Sunday as the first day of the week. In the weekly style print setup I select left to right for arrangement and yet the printout still starts the week on Monday. If I change the first day of the week to any other day in the options menu the weekly calendar prints starting with that day of the week. For example, if I select Wednesday as the first day of the week, the printed weekly calendar starts on Wednesday and ends on Tuesday. It appears that the only day I cannot get to print as the first day of the week is Sunday.

billmuler - Welcome to the Board :)

Outlook problems are dealt with in the Other Internet Software Forum - I have moved your thread there (with title edit) for better exposure.

Yes, Sunday prints but it is on the right rather than on the left. As I said this only happens to Sunday, if I select any other day as the start of the week that day prints first.

For what it is worth, I did an experiment at work today where I use Outlook 2000 on Win2K and it prints properly.

    A thought here ....

I use an oldish version of Lotus Organiser - in preferences there is a dropdown box to define on which day the week starts - I wonder if such an option exists in Outlook. That would explain the differences between the two versions you are running.

Pete - I run the same version at work as billmuler and I played with mine for at least a half-hour last night, twiddling all the options I could find and mine persisted in doing the same thing that is annoying him.

Yes, there is a place to select the first day of the week and it works properly for everyday except Sunday. It works properly on Win2k/Outlook 2002 at work, it looks like I'm stuck with it like this until I upgrade my OS.

    Calendar Fix

    Hi Bill,

To fix Outlook so the calendar prints Sundays on the left, goto the calendar, right click on the one of the days, click on 'other settings' and then un-check the box next to 'compress weekend days'.

    That oughta do it!

I am having the same problem, and I google directed me to this thread.

Unfortunately I don't have a solution, but I can say the last proposed solution doesn't work.

Why the program should behave this way is truly baffling.
