I am now having trouble sending messages in Outlook that have attachments. They sit in the Outbox for 20 minutes, even if the file is small. I'm not sure if this issue is related to my problem with iCloud.

Have you contacted your ISP for suggestions?

I haven't James. Do you think it might be an I.S.P provider issue?

I'm beginning to think that I need to reinstall Outlook, but that's an awful lot of work and then to not have it be the problem would be frustrating.

I used to have a problem uploading attachments from Outlook 2007. The files took forever to load, and sometimes they would not load at all. The server looked like it was timing out or something.

Later on, my ISP offered me a temporary increase in speed, and now my attachments load very well.

Does Outlook 2010 offer a repair option? I can repair Outlook 2007 via the Add Remove Programs list.

I am not familiar with iCloud. Is that a part of Outlook 2010, or just an addon?

I phoned my ISP as you suggested. I had a setting that had changed to offline. Thanks for your help. Thanks for the link Retiredlearner.

    You're most welcome, Alicia!

    Was that an Outlook setting?

EDIT: After clicking of Neil's link, I see that it is an Outlook setting. Great find, Neil.

Yes it was. I don't know how it got changed. I know I didn't change it.

I see from the link Retiredlearner posted that some people have an issue with iCloud and the emails getting stuck in Outbox. I'll monitor this and see what happens. If needed I'll try disabling iCloud.
