outlook 2010 emails for laptop/pc

    I have one home desktop and one wireless laptop networked with a simply router. I have the same email address for both computers, when i open my wireless laptop all my emails end up in my laptop and then my emails are gone in my desktop. what do i need to do so BOTH computers get the same emails? I appreciate your help. I am using OUTLOOK 2010. please make it simple as i'm not that good with computers :)

    On one of the computers, go to Tools/Accounts and put a check in Leave mail on server. Then the one that you don't do this with will take them off the server and the other one will download them but leave them there for the other PC.

    Actually - do the leave mail on server thing for both computers. That way it won't matter which computer you use first.

    I have looked all over for the "Leave mail on server box" if I go to "File" it shows me "Account settings, Mailbox Cleanup and Rules and Alerts" i have looked all over in them and don't see tools any ware on the home page of outlook? please walk me throw this as what or ware to go.. I'm lost. thanks you so much for your help

    Account Settings is where you should find the leave mail on server option... I don't have the 2010 version of Outlook so I can't help.. Have you search for the setting via the help file?

    In OL 2007 its under Tools > Account Settings, select the account, click Change, click More Settings, select the Advanced tab.

    Not sure if it's the same in OL2010, haven't installed that yet.

    i tired to set up my accout as POP3 but it won't let me do that? it is on my laptop but not on my desktop "IMAP" im out of options :(

    Is the email account an @Yahoo.com account? If not - who is the account with?
