I just upgraded to Win7 last month. Since then Outlook doesn't send unless I hit send/receive or close the program. I have the settings set to send/receive every minute on the 4 emails I monitor.
    Does anyone have a solution?

Try disabling that auto-send-receive feature. Close Outlook.
Start Outlook and set the check to 10 minutes.

I am made to believe that in Windows 7 there is no Outlook included.
You are as I am made to believe, to install Windows Live Mail and register it with your ISP. Live mail certainly works fine for me.

That is correct - Outlook is a component part of Microsoft Office which the OP clearly has installed. For people requiring more than a simple email client, especially those in a Corporate environment, Live Mail does not cut the mustard :)
