Outlook 2007 beta apparently affected by IE7 RC release

I've been using Outlook 2007 beta for some time and it was working fine. Recently, I installed the IE7 Release Candidate update to my prevous IE7 beta installation and IE works fine but, now, I can no longer click on an e-mail embedded link in Outlook 2007 beta to automatically open the default browser.

Instead, I receive an error message that Windows can't open the link and asks me to go to another window to select the appropriate program from a list. I then select the browser I want and the link works fine. I have to do this each time even though I checked the box which says, "Use the program for all files of this type ".

I can only assume that the IE7 release somehow affected Outlook 2007 beta as it worked fine before. Any suggestions of how to fix this problem will be appreciated.

 

I just reinstalled it and the same problem persists.
