I found a thread on this from march but couldn't post in it because it was locked, more or less the problem I'm having is one of my users is having thier email sent multiple times everytime they send an email.

Well I know that its being recieved multiple times in people's email in box. All of us are using Outlook 2003, and no exchange server.

I looked around and it was said that deleting the outbox.obx file would help, but I did a search on my machine and I didn't find this file to delete it.

Anyone have any suggestions to troubleshoot this?

Deleting the outbox.dbx would be for Outlook EXPRESS.

Microsoft "just" released SP2 for Office 2003. Sure wouldn't hurt to install it.

    Outlook and Multiple Messages

I'd like to add to this a bit. My customer uses Outlook at work, and I believe Exchange server. She receives 40-50 e-mails per day. She deletes many that are not needed to keep, and empties the 'deleted items' folder. All seems well until maybe 3-4 weeks or so later, and then all those apparently deleted messages show up in her inbox again. I've looked at all the appropriate (or so I think) settings and can see nothing that should be causing this to happen. It's becoming very frustrating for her. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks in advance!! :)
