When sending with an attachment Outlook shows mail in outbox but mail was sent. This same problem occurs with Outlook 2002. Any ideas how to remedy this issue? An earlier thread from Ted Muir refers to Outlook 2004 and refers to the Outlook 2004 dbx file.

There isn't an Outlook 2004 and dbx files are only used with Outlook Express...

What is the file size of the attachments you are sending. Many/Most ISP have a file size limit of 1 gig or so...

Size of the attachment does not exceed 4MB. I could not locate any pertinent info in the knowledge base.

I meant to say One Meg...You need to look on your ISP's web site and or contact them to find out with the size limit is.

If you send a very small attachment does it send out straight away?
