Outlook 2003 Rules based on Sender Category

I need either a hack or an addin to create message rules based on a contact's category.

I know I can add every contact in a category to a distribution list and then filter based on that, but it's unflexible.

I have Outlook 2003 11.6359.6408 SP1.

Does anyone know of anything like this?

What do you need to do that the existing 'category' option does not allow?

 

I was under the impression that the category option you specified in your screenshot was the category of the message, not the sender...

 

I don't use the category feature but since the list of available categories for setting up a rule exactly matches the available categories for each contact, I'm betting it's tied to the category you place the contact in.
