I am new to this site and have had a bit of a look around for an answer to this problem but wasn't really able to find an answer. I recently re-installed OL2003 on my computer following a clean install of XP. At the time everything installed well with no error messages. What is happening now is everytime i send an e-mail message, regardless of the size or recipient, OL sends no less than 5 copies of the same message. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue. I have installed the latest service packs and according to the microsoft office update site, There are no outstanding updates to be installed on my system.

Is this a standard pop3 email account?
Have you checked in Tools->Accounts and made sure it's only setup once?

    Hi there,

Yes it is a standard pop3 account. I have checked all the settings and there is only one account. In addition I have checked the outbox and there are no outstanding messages. As of today it is no longer sending multiple messages but I haven't actually changed any settings or details...Is it possible that there was a issue with my ISP instead of with outlook???

No telling what the problem was. Maybe Outlook just didn't load well. And it vcould have been the ISP.
