    Hi all
I'm instaling a new crm Program called SFM which works Great on Outlook.

But before installing it, I need to mark all my Contacts, Appointments & Tasks as private.

Is there an automaticaly way to do it? as opposed to go 1 by 1...

Many thanks for the quick response.

    Mickey

Single click on the first one and then scroll down to the last one and with the SHIFT KEY held down, click on the last one. This will highlight them all and with the SHIFT KEY still being held down, double click on one of the highlighted names and it will open the box up and you can click Private in the corner and then click the X to get out of that one and the next one will appear and you will continue to do that till finished. Quicker then opening one and doing it then going to the next and the next. This way there are all there at once and you won't/shouldn't miss any... Hope this helps.

many thanks for the reply -- but...

in contacts, when I right click, there is no [private] in the menu.
and in tasks, same thing... :-(

any ideas on how to do it?

Are you saying that when you click on Contacts then in the new window you double click on a contact and another window opens up there is no Private box in the lower right hand corner?

    when I open

when I open a single contact there is the 'private' check box on the buttom right corner, but when I select all contacts, as you sugested, and right click for the menu, there is no 'private' possibility.

I don't understand what you are refering to when you say you right click for the menu, there is no "private" possibility. I have 2000 Pro and XP 2002 Pro and if I hightlight them all by clicking on the first one then hold down the Shift Key then go to the last one and click on it and then they are all highlighted then double click on one of them, it opens up all of them where you can only see one at a time and the Private box is in the bottom right.

Oh, I see what you mean

You were talking about going through them one by one...

I was asking if there was a way to do them all in one time, not one at a time..
I have so many of them, that it'll take me a lot of time going through them one by one.. :-(

    thanks anyways..

I highlighted them all the way I said then did the check in the box and then clicked the X on the top right and it brought the next one up.
