Hi, whenever my outlook is open it keeps trying to send 1 message. But I haven't written a message to send, and there's none in my outbox or drafts. Is there a way I can reset it? I've deleted my account settings and reentered them but it still does it.

Also I can no longer send any mail myself. It says that it can't connect to the smtp server. I've emailed them about it but they say there isn't a problem at their end. I'm assuming that the problems are related as they happened around the same time.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks

Need to double check the SMTP setting with what your ISP requires.

All the settings are how they should be. I think the main problem is this phantom email that it keeps trying to send.

Ok, I did that but it hasn't fixed the problem.
