    outlook 2003/ echange 2003

Alright I will try to explain this as best I can. My company has recently migrated from exchange 2000 to exchange 2003 during the migration we decided to change the server name of the email servers. All users profiles are setup locally on each computer but are created from the default user profile when they login to the domain. The first time they click on outlook it opens and attempts to build their profile but it is still using the old server how do I change this so it attempts to use the updated server?

Change Outlook configurations for the new server????

    Easy:

Go to tools - options - mail setup - email accounts - view account - remove account - add account - chnage the server to the new one - choose account - next - done

    :D

no on the client machines I've got about 150 users that logon to any of 80 computers so it does not make sense to go around and change all the settings right now I have them changing it in control panel since you cannot do it from outlook if the exchange server is unavailable it simply won't even open outlook if only an exchange account is setup.

We do have the webmail functional however outlook suits our needs better. This is on a military network and most of our users have 2-3 email accounts that are all being read into outlook so it just makes more since to use it for us.
