Outlook 2002 Users - Check It Out

    To make Outlook 2002 go to the Windows system tray when you minimize it ... Make a backup of the Windows registry, then go to this key:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Preferences

    Add a new DWORD value named "MinToTray" and give it a value of 1.


    Works real well in 2002. I tried beating the system with Outlook 2000 and couldn't get it to work.

    Is 2002 the same as Outlook 6? :confused:

    And how do u backup your registry btw? :)

    Nope. Outlook EXPRESS 6 is a stripped down version of Outlook.

    Depending on you Operating system, it probably already keeps 5 backup copies of the registry.
