    Hi,

Just recently when I click the Send/Receive button in Outlook I am getting the "Enter Network Password" dialogue box for several of the email accounts that I have configured. When this shows the Server, Username and Password settings are already there but the "Save this password in your password list" checkbox is unchecked.

If I check this box the next time I Send/Receive the same thing happens all over. For some reason I am being prompted for information which it already has. This has only started to happen recently. I have Outlook 2002 and it has the latest SP3 update.

I have seen that other people are getting the same problem as me but so far I have not been able to find a solution. Even the Microsoft site acknowledges a problem but they suggest installing SP3 which I already have.

Has anyone got an answer to this one?

I did find some reference that suggested:

Control Panel > Internet Options > Content, click the AutoComplete button.

Enable User names and passwords on forms
Disable Prompt me to save passwords

Go though the account list and remove the Remember password check. Close Outlook. Re-open Outlook and re-entere the PWs.
