Outlook 2002: can send but not receive mail

    BLUEYONDER/VIRGIN MEDIA

    Until last Friday, my wife was having e-mail problems in Outlook 2002 with a pop up box asking for her user name and the password for her blueyonder account. Prior to 22 January 2010, everything was working normally. Eventually, after hours of research I managed to fix this and all outstanding mail was delivered to her inbox. However, although she no longer gets the pop up box and all the account settings tests in Outlook are OK, she has not received any e-mails since Friday (not even the test e-mail from
    Microsoft Outlook's Account Manager).

    I am the primary account holder for Virgin Media and have had no problems whatsoever. I have wasted so much time on this and need a solution desparately before I crack up.

    She has not received any error messages and I suspect the problem may be with Virgin Media.
