Good morning all. First a little history,I've recently switched from Netscape7.1(Mozilla) mail to Outlook 2000, then upgraded to 2002. Reason for change Netscape inbox was infected and lost through Norton Anti Virus quarantine problems. I was unable to import name and address files (Outlook could not find them) and they were manually recreated in Outlook. Most of the Outlook 2002 program features seem to be functioning as expected, except when preparing to send or forward a message. The autoname is checked in the tools - options - preferences - email options - advanced email options, along with the suggest names. My system is AMD 1.2GH, 1GB RAM, running W2KPro. I've used Outlook on another computer and seen how it suggests possible names. The Outlook 2002 for dummies book wasn't too helpful in this case.
Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks in advance.
Well after working a good portion of the day on this it is NOW WORKING!!! I can't be totally sure what combination of actions got it to finally work but I've learned to not argue with success. :)
