Outlook 2002 Attachments

    Outlook 2002 (bundled with Office XP) will not allow you to receive certain file types as attachements that might be unsafe.
    Microsoft Knowledge Base Q290497 shows you how to make changes in the system registry to allow the file types you want to be able to receive.

    The easier thing to do is have the sender zip the file up...or change it to a .txt and tell you in the e mail what to change it back to.
    We do it all the time to get .mpg's and .avi's through sniffers.
