In Outlook 2000 I have accidentaly deleted an email from the 'Deleted Items' folder which I wanted to keep. How can I recover it using the archive file? The Auto Archive is set to 14 days. I found 2 files: Archive.pst and Outlook.pst
What do I have to do to recover the deleted email?

Outlook.pst is the file where Outlook keeps its current data so the archive file is the one you need to use.

In Outlook, go to File>Import and Export, step through the wizard, telling it you want to "import from another program or file," the "Personal Folder file (.pst),' then browse to the location of the archive.pst file and be sure to check "do not import duplicates. "

Be forwarned, that will import all your archived files back into Outlook, including the one you want.
