    Outlook 2000 is the version.

One of our users is receiving multiple emails of the same email. This has happened to every email as of recently- multiple sources.

No one else in the office is having the problem.

    What could be the issue?

    Thanks in advance

Look to see what size the PST file is. Once they get to the max size of 2gigs - Outlook will do lots of weird things.

Guessing the checked to make sure her account isn't setup more then one time.

All pst files are under 100 mbs.

I brought up task manager and, at least, 10 outlook.exe were running!!??!

What would cause this? I looked at msconfig and nothing stood out that would run this multiple times.

For now, I closed out all outlooks and reopened it. Monitored task manager and only one showed. So I believe it has to do with something in startup..? I looked in the startup folder and nothing also related to Outlook or office.

So now that you're down to one EXE running are you only getting one mail?

Food for thought-> Go into the account setting and uncheck the Leave Mail on Server Option.....Save and get out...Close and Reopen Outlook....In theory - it will clear out all mail on the server....Then go back in and place the check mark back in the leave mail on server...

I solved this issue. I backed-up all information in new psts files. Removed the old pst and assigned a new pst file. Solved, hasn't come up since I last posted.
