I need achieve that the email message from the specific person always was on top of list of received emails(while I shall not work with them) in spite of the fact that I receive many emails continuously. Letters are sorted by date as usually. How to make this?

Thread moved to Other Internet Software - pl. see the sticky at the top of the IE/Outlook EXPRESS forum

Don't know about Outlook, but in Express just click the header bar (From) at the top of that column sorts by name, but I know of no way to ensure that a specific name always heads the list - but maybe someone will :)

No, as I heard the way is create a category, then a rule that all messages from that person go into that category; then group by that category. I am not sure in full.

It may be that what you want can be created by right clicking on the header in the From column and left clicking on "Group by this field."

That will put all messages from the same sender into a group under that sender's name. You can then expand to see the grouped messages by clicking on the plus sign to the left of the sender's name.

If you try that and don't like the results, just right click on the "From" button that will now be located in the upper left, above the columns, and left click on "Don't group by this field" to restore things to the way they were.

This way would be OK for me personally. My boss just asked me for another way: he means use just a flag to marks the necessary message, assumed to achieve that the message always remained on top. I am not sure that is possible use flag for this.

Make it a different color. It is under Tools>Organize.
