    Hi

I used to use Outlook Express and set up accounts to pick up my hotmail accounts on it. I've now moved to Outlook 2000 and it doesn't seem to want to do it.

    Help anyone

    Thanks

You cannot use Outlook 2000 to connect to Hotmail. OL2000 can only connect to the following server types: Exchange, POP3, SMTP and IMAP.

Unfortunately Hotmail connects via HTTP. If you really want to use Outlook, the latest version (2002) does allow you to connect to Hotmail via HTTP just as Outlook Express does.

I've seen that before (although I forgot about it) but it really is no different than opening Hotmail in a browser.
