I'm helping someone who has this scenario (using Outlook 2007 for their AT&T e-mail acct), and they have already spoken to "support" in Bombay, and apparently they don't have the answer on their script, and the AT&T IT gurus haven't fixed it in the last 5 yrs. Their issue is they can Send, but can't Rec'v. So, I'm looking for anyone that at least has Outlook using AT&T e-mail to see if their settings are the same as what's at the link above. I've tried setting up Outlook on AT&T before, and it seems there was some field that didn't work the way the instructions were written.

    Any Suggestions?

OK! Revision on actual problem. The problem is still that they can't rec'v, however, it passed the test that Outlook runs after you've configured everything, then they sent another e-mail to themselves, and it gets to the AT&T server, but won't go thru back to their PC.

Par for the course, my customer told me also that when they spoke to an American support person they said they no longer support Outlook. HELLO! This IS ONLY the most used e-mail client in the world. That's like saying you don't support Intel!

So, this is my last resort. PLEASE someone help!

    Thanks,
