outbox---mail remains frozen in outbox

    Mail does not move to sent items after transmission is complete. Mail is sent out properly and recipients receive my email but I have to physically move from outbox to sent or delete. All I get for a message is errors have occurred when finished transmitting. HELP

    If it were my machine, I'd go to:

    (Win XP & Win2k) (might need to enable show hidden system files)

    C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{E5C4B58E-0072-4A0E-BA21-DD32793F2322}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

    And delete the file called Outbox.dbx . It'll get recreated next time you send out.
