After removing Malware and virus from my computer with the help of Windows BBS. Other computers on my LAN can not see my computer. One of the problems I had before removing the malware was my computer would see the network but could not obtain a IP address automatically form the router. I gave my computer a IP address then I could access the network. After removing the malware I change it back to obtain an IP address automatically and it got and IP address OK and I could access the internet but the other computers can not see my computer on the network.

Malware has most probably damaged your system files or config.

Try running System File Checker tool sfc/scannow as Administrator.

    I have a few questions:

    What OS are you running?
Are the workstations on a domain or a workgroup?
Can you ping the other workstations by name and IP?
They cannot see you on the network, but can you see them?
    Thanks, Trey.
