Opera slow loading pages

On my XP system I have IE 6.0 Netscape 4.7x and Opera 7.01

Of the three Opera is the only one that doesn't fully load pages.

The page appears but many of the images don't appear - what appears is a generic text box with the title of the image.

The status bar at the bottom shows 'completed' as if the browser thinks the page is completed.

Haven't used Opera much and I'm a little baffled by this behavior.

Any suggestions?

I've been using Opera 7.01, 7.02, and now 7.03. None have shown any general behavior like that. There is the odd website that won't load correctly, which Opera blames on non-standard or sloppy coding of the site. But almost all sites work fine.

So I'd guess it's something with your installation. Have you tried a reinstall?

 

I had the same problem, Opera doesn't open certain sites very well. I use IE6 and it works fine.
