Opera & Netscape

I use a broadband cable ISP (Road Runner).

I have both Opera (6.0) and Netscape Navigator (4.0).

I much perfer Opera, however, I can't access my MSN Hotmail with Opera and can with Netscape. This seems to be the only site that has this problem.

I have set Opera to identify as MSIE (5.0). I have also tried Mozilla (5.0) without success.

 

I've had no troubles with Opera and hotmail. I usually have success with the following settings:

ID as Opera (you might try IDing as ns4.76)
javascript enabled
accept all cookies/accept from all servers

I will get a screen that mentions "browser limitations ", then I can continue into hotmail. I have just logged into hotmail with the above settings.

I cannot say whether I can use hotmail for composing messages, etc., as I only keep it for a spam box, since there are better webmail services.
