Opera 6.03

    While visiting a friend I told him how much I like Opera (6.01). He downloaded it (6.03) and then under 'File' clicked 'Preferences'. He made some changes in preference and when he clicked 'Apply' the screen froze. The only way to get going again was to shut down and reboot. We tried several times to set certain preferences and each time apply was clicked the same results as above. Advise?

    Without knowing the specifics of the PC (especially the OS) it is sorta hard to tell.

    My suggestion would be to go to the Opera Windows Site and look around. Check out their newsgroup for messages about similar happenings. Maybe a query to Opera support.
